Sign out

Sign out of Yes Chef on the web or the iPhone, and what signing out does on a phone you share or are handing back.

Who can do this: Everyone

Web and iPhoneChecked

On this page

Signing out ends your session on that browser or phone only. Your account, your shifts and your records are untouched, and you stay signed in everywhere else.

On the web

  1. Press the card with your name at the foot of the sidebar.
  2. Choose the sign-out option in the menu that opens.
  3. You are returned to the sign-in page.

On the phone

  1. Open Me and scroll to This phone.
  2. Press Sign out. There is no second question.
  3. The app goes back to its Sign in screen.

What signing out does on the phone

  • This phone stops getting your notifications.
  • What the app had saved on the phone to open quickly is cleared.
  • Nothing is removed from your account.

If you are leaving the business

Signing out does not close your account. Your manager does that when you leave; see Offboard a leaver. To remove your own sign-in for good, see Delete your account.
