Edit your profile
Change your own name, date of birth and mobile number on the web or the iPhone, and who to ask about the details you cannot change.
Your profile holds the details Yes Chef uses for your rota and payroll. You can change your name, date of birth and mobile number yourself.
On the web
- Press the card with your name at the foot of the sidebar, then My profile.
- Under Details, change Full name, Date of birth or Mobile number.
- Press Save changes. It says Profile saved.
On the phone
- Open Me, then Edit profile under My file.
- Change Full name, Date of birth or Mobile number.
- Press Save changes at the bottom. The button reads No changes until you have changed something. It then says Profile saved.
What you cannot change here
- Your email. It is shown but locked, because it is your sign-in. Ask an Admin if it has to change.
- Your address, emergency contact and pay details. You gave these when you first signed in and they are kept in your staff file. Ask your manager to correct them.
- Your level, pay rate and where you work. These are set by your manager or an Admin.
The same page has your PIN for the kitchen’s shared tablet. See Set your shared tablet PIN.
If it doesn’t work
- “Couldn’t parse that number. Try a UK format like 07…”
- The mobile number could not be read. Type it as a UK mobile, starting 07, or with its country code.
- “That number looks off.” or “A mobile number is required.”
- The number is not a valid mobile number. A landline is not accepted.
- The date you want cannot be picked
- The date of birth has to make you at least 14.
