See earlier conversations
Scroll back to what you asked Ask Yes Chef before, and how long earlier questions and answers are kept.
The chat starts fresh when you have been away from it for half an hour. What you asked before is still there, above the greeting.
- Open Ask Yes Chef on the web or the iPhone.
- At the top of the conversation, press Earlier. On the phone you can also pull down from the top.
- Earlier questions and answers load a page at a time, under the day they were asked. Press Earlier again for more.
- When there is no more, it says That’s everything.
What you see
- Only your own questions. Nobody else’s appear in your chat.
- Only those asked about the location at the top of the chat. Change the location to see what you asked about another.
- Answers and cards as they were at the time. A figure from last week is last week’s figure: for how things stand now, ask again.
How long it is kept
Questions and answers are kept for 90 days and then deleted. More on what is kept is in What happens to what you ask.
If it doesn’t work
- Earlier does nothing
- You are offline. Earlier conversations are loaded from the server.
- There is no Earlier at the top
- There is nothing earlier to show for this location.
