Before you decide
Nory’s core is inventory, ordering and payroll, which Yes Chef has not built. For most Nory customers Yes Chef is not a replacement. The two are set side by side on our blog: Nory and Yes Chef compared.
What setting up afresh means
- Sites. We create each location with its areas. See Set up areas, positions and stations.
- People. Your team are added and invited by email. Nobody’s history comes with them: past rotas, timesheets and leave stay in Nory. See Invite someone.
- Menu. Typed in, or brought in from a SumUp POS Pro till if that is your till. See Bring the menu in from the till.
- Checks. Set up with you from what you run today. See How checks work.
- Sales. Live sales need a SumUp POS Pro till. See Other tills and past sales.
What to keep from Nory
Before you end anything, export and keep what you are obliged to keep or will want to look back on: pay and working-time records, leave records and any food-safety records held there. The duty to keep them is yours.
