Which tills Yes Chef connects to today, what you can do if yours is not one of them, and how past sales get in.

The till that connects today
SumUp POS Pro is the only till Yes Chef connects to live. Once connected, its sales are read every ten minutes. See Connect a SumUp POS Pro till.
The Till page lists other tills under Coming soon: Square, Lightspeed, Toast, EposNow and Tevalis. They cannot be connected today, and we do not give dates.
If your till is not SumUp POS Pro
The rest of Yes Chef works without a till: the rota, clocking, checks, tasks, training and messages need none. What you go without is anything built on sales:
- the sales figures on Home, and the Sales today block on the phone;
- sales, forecast and labour % on Insights and the rota;
- Sales & GP;
- sales on the Performance page;
- sales answers from Ask Yes Chef.

Past sales from when you connect
When you connect a SumUp POS Pro till, Yes Chef fetches up to 400 days of its past sales. That is what gives you a “last year” to compare with from the first week.
Past sales from another system
Past sales from somewhere else are something we bring in for you. There is no upload button. Today we can do it from Dines, the order-and-pay service, working from a file of your past orders. See Bring past till sales in.
