See sales today on the phone

If you build the rota at a location with a till connected, the Hub on the iPhone opens with the day’s money. It is the web Home page’s Today, worked out the same way, so the two always agree.

1. Open the Hub tab. If you work at more than one location, pick the one you want at the top.
2. The block headed Sales today shows what the till has taken so far, without VAT. Beside it is how far that is above or below the comparison, on green, amber or red.
3. The line underneath says what it is compared with and that day’s figure so far: last year’s same weekday where the location has a last year, and the same day a week ago where it has not.
4. Under that, the day is drawn by the hour against the comparison, and up to three smaller figures follow: Covers, Spend per head and Labour %.
5. Tap the block to open Insights for the fuller picture.

What the colours mean

Green: at or above the comparison. Amber: within a tenth under. Red: further under. Labour % is judged against the location’s labour limit instead: green at or under it, amber up to three points over. What each figure means is in Read the money figures on Home.

Asking instead
