See which documents are expiring
Find the certificates that have run out or are about to, and open a document’s file, on the web or on the iPhone.
Each document is held against the expiry date typed in when it was uploaded. A document is still in date on its expiry day and expired the day after.
What the statuses mean
- Expired: the expiry date has passed.
- Expiring: it runs out within 30 days.
- In date: more than 30 days are left.
- No expiry: no expiry date was given, so nothing is counted.
On the web
Go to Checks, then Documents
- Pick the location. The table opens sorted by Status, with expired and expiring documents first.
- Read the Expires column. An expired date is marked “Expired”, and one inside 30 days is marked “≤30d”.
- Filter by Kind, Belongs to or Status to narrow the list, for example to one person’s certificates.
- Press Download on a row to open the file.
On the phone
- Open Checks and scroll to Registers at the foot, or open Me. Press Documents.
- The three counts at the top are Expired, Expiring and In date. Press one to see only those documents.
- Press a document to open it. Its screen says how it stands, its Kind, who or what it is For, and when it was Issued and Expires.
- Under File, press Open to see the file itself.
What happens next
When a certificate has been renewed, upload the new one on the web. The old one stays as it was until you delete it.
If it doesn’t work
- A certificate that has run out is not marked
- It was uploaded without an expiry date. Upload it again with the date, and delete the first copy.
- On the phone: “No documents”, with “Upload them on the web.”
- Nothing has been uploaded at this location yet.
- On the phone: “Couldn’t open the file”
- With “You’re offline”, the file needs a connection to open. With “It isn’t there to open”, the file itself is missing: upload the document again on the web.
- There is no Documents row on the phone
- The row is shown only to people with the “Manage compliance documents” permission at the location the phone is showing.
