Switch location
Change which of your restaurant’s locations you are looking at, on the web and on the iPhone, and what “All locations” shows.
Almost every page shows one location at a time. You can switch between the locations you work at: your home location and any additional ones. An Admin can switch to any location in the organisation.
On the web
- In the card at the top of the sidebar, press the Location row.
- Pick a location, or All locations.
- The page you are on changes to that location. The rota stays on the same week. Your pick is remembered in this browser.
The first time you sign in, the first of your locations is picked for you.
On the phone
- Press the location’s name at the top of a tab. Or open Me and press the Location row, which says how many you have.
- Pick a location from the sheet. Your home location is marked Home.
- The app now shows that location, and its tabs follow what you may do there. Your pick is kept on this phone, for your sign-in only.
If you work at one location, its name is not shown at the top of the tabs and the Location row cannot be pressed.
What “All locations” shows
- On the web, Home adds your locations together. A page that belongs to one location, such as a location’s settings, asks you to pick one.
- On the phone, All locations is offered on Hub and Insights only. Other tabs always show one location.
If it doesn’t work
- A location is not in your list
- You are not on its staff. Someone who may edit staff there has to add it to the locations you work at. See Why someone cannot see a location.
- On the web: picking a location opens a set-up page instead
- That location’s set-up was never finished, so picking it opens its set-up again at What will this location use?. See Add a location.
- On the phone: “No location yet”
- You have not been put on at any location. Ask your manager to add you to one.
