Confirm a broadcast

Tell your manager you have read an announcement by pressing Got it, on the web or the iPhone.

Who can do this: Everyone a broadcast was sent to.

Web and iPhoneChecked

A broadcast is an announcement from a manager. It sits in your location’s team chat as a card headed Broadcast. Some ask you to confirm you have read them.

  1. Open the broadcast. It is in your inbox, and in the team chat under Messages. On the phone, tapping the notification opens the chat.
  2. Read it.
  3. Press Got it at the foot of the card.
  4. The key is replaced by Confirmed. On the phone it also says Broadcast confirmed.

What your manager sees

Whoever sent the broadcast, and the other people who can broadcast at your location, see a count of how many have confirmed and the names of who has and who has not. They can send a reminder to everyone still waiting, at most once an hour. Confirming cannot be undone.

A broadcast reaches you even if you have muted the team chat. See Mute a chat.

If it doesn’t work

There is no “Got it” key
The sender did not ask for confirmation, or you have already confirmed and it says Confirmed.
It says “Confirmation asked” and has no key
You sent this broadcast yourself, or it went to a part of the team you are not in. There is nothing for you to confirm.
You keep getting reminded
A reminder goes to everyone who has not pressed Got it. Open the broadcast and press it.
