See check history

Look back at how earlier days went: every check, whether it was done, late or missed, what was recorded and by whom. Export it from the web.

Who can do this: People with the “See every check and its history” permission: Supervisors, Location Managers and Admins by default; an Employee can be given it.

History is the record of a location’s checks, day by day. It is where you find a past check, see what was missed, and get the records out of the app.

On the web

Go to Checks, then History

  1. Choose the days: Last 7 days, Last 14 days or Last 30 days, or set the From and to dates yourself.
  2. Narrow the list with the buttons above it: All, Missed, Done, Done late and Open action. Each shows how many there are.
  3. Read the table. Checks are grouped by day. Each row has the check, when it was due, its state, who did it and when, and marks such as Out of range, Edited, Early and Shared tablet. More columns, such as Readings, Note and Assigned to, can be switched on from the table’s column menu.
  4. Click a row to open the check in a panel: everything recorded, its photos, its actions and its edit history.

On the phone

  1. Open Checks and press the history icon at the top, named Checks history.
  2. Step back and forward through the days with the bar at the top. Each day shows how many checks were done, late and missed. Pressing the count of failed checks or of open actions shows only those; pressing it again shows every check.
  3. Tap a check to open its record.

Export the records

On the web, press Export above the table. It downloads the rows you are looking at, with the filters and columns you have chosen, as a spreadsheet file, and says Export downloaded. For a printed record covering a range of dates, use the inspector pack, which is also opened from this page.

If it doesn’t work

“No checks in these dates.”
Nothing was scheduled in the range, or the range is wrong. Check the dates and the location picked in the sidebar.
The page asks you to pick a location
History is for one location at a time. Pick one in the sidebar.
“Not yours to see” on the phone
You do not have the “See every check and its history” permission at this location.
A row says “Deleted check”
The check it was made from no longer exists. The record itself is still kept.
